ONE MISSION AT A TIME

A simple way to discover.

Choose the reading depth and pace that suit you.

01

Explore an idea

Choose a mission. Read the essentials or go deeper, then open its 3D teaching view.

02

Compare and record

Try two useful model states. Write what you notice and record each comparison.

03

Explain and check

Work through three discovery checks and three final questions to complete the mission.

Explore at your own pace

72 missions across six zones, grouped into Foundation, Expedition, Discovery and Frontier lessons.

  • Choose a numbered lesson. Explore this lesson returns the world to its teaching setup.
  • Drag to orbit and scroll or pinch to zoom. With the 3D view focused, use the arrow keys, + / − and R to rotate, zoom and reset.
  • Try the two comparison states and write your observation for each. Record this state saves the actual model settings; the setup buttons only prepare them.
  • Complete the three discovery checks and answer the three final questions. New missions need both comparisons and all six checks.
  • Save longer observations in the journal. Return to lesson opens its teaching view; saved experiment settings remain in your journal. Earlier completed missions stay completed.

Astronomy & honest scale

Exploration views compress distances and enlarge small objects. The Solar System offers separate distance-scale and size-scale views; these cannot both fit comfortably on one screen. Colours, interiors and animation speeds are teaching representations.

Gravity Lab uses simplified central-body and two-body models. Galaxy and black-hole views are conceptual illustrations, and universe eras are discrete teaching stages.
