Learning design

Another explanation.
A useful next step.

VexSpark™ learner support is being developed across the education family to offer clearer explanations, targeted practice and reviewable progress.

Support the next attempt.

The learner’s answer and chosen presentation can help decide what to revisit. An unanswered question is not proof of a missing skill, and a repeated quiz answer is not independent evidence of mastery.

Explain another way

Offer shorter steps, a key idea, relevant imagery or an alternative presentation.

Practise the difficult part

Use useful feedback and guided checks, while retaining the learner’s route through the lesson.

Return to useful revision

Keep approved progress and explanation preferences where implemented, and make recommendations understandable.

Each App has its own implementation.

Accepted™ has a recorded offline rule-based adaptation component. SafeSpark™ includes bounded adaptation demonstrations with sample information. Those are different from claiming the same implementation in every App or role package.

BootCamp, WithMe, Find It WithMe and vocational learning each need their own scoped implementation and learning evaluation. Rule-based adaptation is different from a generative teaching model.

Keep the learner in control.

Preferences are not diagnoses. Speaking should not be compulsory when another route can meet the learning goal. Parent, teacher and trainer responsibilities remain specific to each App.
