LearnWithMe / Accessibility direction

Learning must not depend on hearing a voice.

Text, visible feedback and alternatives to spoken interaction belong in the learning journey from the start.

A specific set of design requirements

Text carries the essential meaning

Make instructions readable. A voice line must never contain the only explanation of what to do next.

Feedback is visible

Show progress, confirmations and errors on screen. Allow the learner to pause, repeat and continue without an audio cue.

Speech is not a gate

Provide an appropriate non-voice completion path. Choosing not to speak must not prevent participation.

Design with the people who will use it

This LearnWithMe edition is a recorded accessibility direction. Its design needs review with Deaf learners and the people supporting them, matched to the content, devices and communication preferences involved.

These requirements are not an accessibility certification. Sign languages are distinct languages: any sign-language edition needs language-specific content, qualified review and suitable user testing. No implemented sign-language interpreter is claimed here.

Plan an accessible learning review

Ciaran and 4P3X AI™ can work through the learner journey, identify where audio is assumed, and define a text-first or non-voice route for the proposed App.
